3rd Migration Forum “The Role of Local Governments in the face of Irregular Migration”.

On March 25, the Consortium of Local Governments and Civil Society Organizations in response to irregular migration held the 3rd forum on migration with the support of the Mennonite Social Action Commission (CASM), funding from AWO International and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), with the objective of ratifying the commitment and political will to work together with the civil society of the municipalities and regions, central government and international cooperation in the response and comprehensive management of the problem of irregular migration and forced internal displacement, from a rights-based, humanistic approach that leads to sustainable and lasting solutions.
